The Fox News website is the homepage on my laptop and every once in a while the title of an article will catch my eye; I don't read everything every day because it's usually too depressing, but this title was hard not to notice: Atheists Protest Inaugural Prayer.
Yeah. You read it right.
I dared myself to read further and when I did my heart sank and tears came to my eyes. Do people not see where this world is headed? Is there not enough Satan going around already? It's downright terrifying to me.
I didn't know that there was an actual group (although I'm not in the least bit surprised that there is) called the Freedom From Religion Foundation. They're the ones initiating this ridiculous lawsuit and they're also the ones who are responsible for atheist displays being placed next to religious ones in Washington this past holiday season.
I can handle the fact that everyone has the right to believe what they believe on any given subject. That is their right as a human being. We all have differences and I willingly accept that! But this is unfathomable to me. I mean, children don't even say the Pledge of Allegiance anymore ( in which they no longer say, "one nation under God")! This nation was built by men who believed in God
